ਗੰਗਾ ਨਦੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਛੂਹਣੇ 

ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਬਾਲ ਰੂਪ (ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ  ) ਸਨ ,ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਮਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਗੋਦ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਬੇੜੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਗੰਗਾ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਹੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਆਵੇ। ਮਾਮਾ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਥੀ ਬਾਲਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਘਬਰਾਏ ,

ਪਰ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਕ ਚਰਨ ਬੇੜੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਮਕਾਕੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਚਰਨ ਦੀ ਛੋਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਤਤਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਸਲੀ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਤੇ ਚਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਕੌਤਕ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਬੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਏ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਖ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।

para atarajāmī satigurū jī nē āpaṇā ika carana bēṛī vicōṁ hēṭhāṁ lamakākē pāṇī nū chuhā ditā. Pavitra carana dī chōha prāpata karakē pāṇī tatakāla hī hēṭhāṁ āpaṇē asalī ṭikāṇē tē cali'ā gi'ā. Iha kautaka vēkha kē sārē sāthī baṛē prasana hō'ē tē gurū jī nū pūrana purakha jāṇa kē namasakārāṁ kītī'āṁ.
